Lead partners
Hong Kong Marine Conservation Alliance (HKMCA) is a local collective working for marine protected areas (MPAs), biodiversity, and responsible marine ecotourism. They advocate science-based protection for Port Shelter (Ngau Tau Hoi), Pak Nai, Ninepin Islands, and Shui Hau, and connect sailors, divers, and NGOs around healthier Hong Kong waters.香港海洋保育聯盟（HKMCA）是本地協作平台，推動海洋保護區（MPA）、生物多樣性及負責任海洋生態旅遊。倡議以科學為本保護牛尾海、白泥、果洲群島及水口，並連結航海者、潛水員與 NGO，共建更健康的香港水域。
Bloom (Bloom Association) campaigns in Hong Kong and Europe for shark and ray conservation, sustainable seafood, and stronger marine policy. Their work links consumers, restaurants, and industry to healthier oceans — reducing demand for threatened species and raising awareness of Hong Kong’s role in the global seafood trade.Bloom（Bloom Association）在香港及歐洲倡議鯊魚與鰩魚保育、可持續海鮮及更強的海洋政策。工作連結消費者、餐飲與業界，減少受威脅物種需求，並提升公眾對香港在全球海鮮貿易角色的認識。
Marine conservation海洋保育
WWF-Hong Kong protects local marine ecosystems with programmes for Chinese white dolphins, horseshoe crabs, coral communities, and sustainable fisheries. Research, policy advocacy, and public campaigns aim to keep Hong Kong waters biodiverse for future generations of sailors and coastal communities.世界自然基金會香港分會保護本地海洋生態，項目涵蓋中華白海豚、馬蹄蟹、珊瑚群落及可持續漁業。透過研究、政策倡議及公眾活動，致力讓香港水域的生物多樣性延續至下一代航海者與沿岸社區。
Ghost Nets Asia (part of OceansAsia) recovers abandoned “ghost” fishing gear from Hong Kong waters. Volunteer boat and dive missions — especially along South Lantau — remove tonnes of nets that continue to trap marine life. Data and advocacy support cleaner, safer seas for wildlife and boaters.Ghost Nets Asia（OceansAsia）在香港水域回收被遺棄的「幽靈漁網」。義工船隻及潛水行動——尤其南大嶼一帶——每月清除數以噸計仍持續纏殺海洋生物的漁網，並以數據及倡議推動更潔淨、安全的海域。
Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong (OPCFHK) funds and coordinates marine mammal research, coral restoration, and community education across Asia. Grant programmes and field projects support species recovery and ocean literacy from Hong Kong to the wider region.香港海洋公園保育基金（OPCFHK）資助並協調亞洲的海洋哺乳類研究、珊瑚修復及社區教育。透過資助計劃與實地項目，支援物種復育及由香港至區內的海洋素養推廣。
Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society (HKDCS) researches and advocates for Chinese white dolphins and finless porpoises in Hong Kong waters. Habitat protection, vessel traffic issues, policy submissions, and public awareness are central to keeping these iconic marine mammals in our shared sea.香港海豚保育學會（HKDCS）研究並倡議保護香港水域的中華白海豚及江豚。棲息地保護、船隻交通影響、政策建議及公眾教育，是守護這些標誌性海洋哺乳類的核心工作。
Plastic Free Seas educates Hong Kong schools and communities on marine plastic pollution. Beach and coastal clean-ups, youth programmes, and outreach help reduce plastic entering Victoria Harbour and open waters — practical action sailors can join and support.Plastic Free Seas 向香港學校及社區教育海洋塑膠污染問題。透過淨灘、青年計劃及外展活動，減少進入維港及外海的塑膠——航海者亦可參與及支持的實際行動。
The Green Earth (綠惜地球) campaigns on waste reduction, plastic, and pollution that damage Hong Kong’s coastal and marine environment. Advocacy and public programmes push for less landfill waste and cleaner shores where land meets sea.綠惜地球倡議減廢、塑膠及污染議題，關注損害香港海岸與海洋環境的問題。透過倡議及公眾計劃，推動減少堆填廢物及更潔淨的海陸交界。
Hong Kong Cleanup organises territory-wide coastal and underwater clean-ups, litter data collection, and corporate engagement. Volunteers remove debris from shorelines and the seabed — improving conditions for marine life and recreational boaters alike.香港清潔運動籌辦全港海岸及水底清潔行動、垃圾數據收集及企業參與計劃。義工清除岸邊與海床垃圾——同時改善海洋生物與休閒航海者的環境。
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Hong Kong advances marine protected areas, oyster reef restoration, and science-based coastal conservation. Global expertise applied locally helps rebuild habitats that support biodiversity and coastal resilience.大自然保護協會（TNC）在香港推動海洋保護區、蠔礁修復及以科學為本的海岸保育。將全球專業應用於本地，協助重建支援生物多樣性與海岸韌性的棲息地。

The Captain Paul Watson Foundation defends marine wildlife worldwide through direct-action conservation, anti-poaching campaigns, and public education.
